Sri Lanka Beat Australia In T20

Latest Update News:-Sri Lankan team looking for series victory in Australia got their first victory in T-20 match. The only T-20 match played between Australia and Sri Lanka was won by the visitor comprehensively. It was all round performance by Sri Lankans and pure team effort earned them a victory.

They restricted hosts to 133 runs and then batted well to chase the total of 134 runs. Sri Lankans looked committed and they won the only T-20 match by 7 wickets. Openers provided good aggressive stat to the team and first wicket fell at 35 runs. Jayawardene scored 24 runs and Dilshan played 41 runs inning on 34 balls. Captain Sangakkara was the top scorer for Sri Lanka as he scored 44 runs on 43 balls. He remained not out and plays his important part in the victory.

Before that Sri Lanka restricted Australia to 133 runs. S Randiv took three wickets. The bowling was super in first half of the inning but Australia made come back in the second half. 134 runs score was chased by the visitors easily to register their first win in Australia.
