Sarah Mclachlan:When I was in Vancouver, Canada in early June to talk with Sarah McLachlan on her new album and Lilith Tour, I discovered that the singer is working hard to keep her spirits positive. Already forced to respond to rumors about serious problems with the targeting of women traveling festival she helped found and currently being revived, McLachlan was warm and Feisty, but a bit on edge.

The mood changed when she entered the rehearsal studio to bring her outstanding group through some of the rooms of beautiful, fresh release “Laws of Illusion.” Ahead behind her keyboard, McLachlan was authoritative, fully engaged, and apparently happy.

Now that McLachlan has faced a difficult summer, the fall of Lilith – the abolition of poor sales and turned it into a sad symbol of the continuing decline of conventional music industry – it seems that she is returning to its sweet spot. McLachlan announced the fall tour focusing on the South and Midwest, regions affected by the abolition of Lilith. If these shows are going well, you may announce McLachlan is perhaps on the West Coast.
