Latest News Update: Meet Princess Madeleine of Sweden, King Gustaf and Queen Sylvia’s daughter. She’s not only born into the royal family, but she is gorgeous inside and out. In one of her most recent charitable efforts the Princess and the Queen teamed up to launch a campaign in support of their World Childhood Foundation.

Princess Madeleine was born June 10, 1982 in Drottningholm Palace in Sweden. Her family includes father King Gustaf; mother, Queen Sylvia; sister, Crown Princess Victoria and brother Prince Carl Philip. Both of her siblings are in line before her as successors of the Swedish throne. Her father is the great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria.

After studying English in London, Madeleine went on to study the History of Art at the University of Stockholm. Not only does the princess speak Swedish fluently, but she also speaks English, German and French. The princess recently broke off her engagement to Jonas Bergstrom. Rumors were floating around that Bergstrom cheated on his bride-to-be.

In recent news, Queen Sylvia and the Princess spent some time in New York promoting their World Childhood Foundation USA with an event at Sirius XM.

President of Sirius Scott Greenstein commented on their joint efforts with the royal family. He said, “The work of the World Childhood Foundation could not be more important at this critical time, and I am proud to be part of their efforts to protect children. With the help of the esteemed and generous individuals involved in this campaign, we can reach people across the country and around the world and make a difference.”

Charlotte Brandin, an advocate for the Childhood Foundation, expressed her positivity towards the campaign saying, “We are very pleased that Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden is part of our SIRIUS XM Radio campaign. We have many notable guests lined up to continue to bring awareness to Childhood’s mission and many projects to a new audience.”
