Oregon Cheerleaders

Oregon Cheerleaders:-The Oregon Ducks football team weren’t the only ones outfitted with special new uniforms for tonight’s national title game against Auburn: the Oregon cheerleaders also got new duds.

Nike, whose vice president of innovation Tinker Hatfield is an Oregon alum, is notorious for keeping the Oregon program outfitted in the most cutting edge designs (for a full review of all of Oregon football’s 2010-11 uniforms, click here). Apparently, that also extends to the cheerleading squad (and, really, I don’t think anyone’s complaining).

From a purely sartorial perspective (of course) I feel like the cheerleaders have the football players beat tonight. I’m personally not a fan of the neon green socks being worn by the football players, and the cheerleaders more classic green and yellow color combo just seems to fit better.
