Latest Update News:-Today, August 26 the whole world is celebrating the birth anniversary of the mother of everyone, Mother Teresa. The one, who devoted her complete life for the well being of others, would have completed 100 years, if she was alive. Although, born as an Albanian Catholic in the year 1910, Mother Teresa was a citizen of India.

She established Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata (Calcutta), India in the year 1950. Mother Teresa labored very hard for the orphans, sick, poor and also for those who were on their death beds.

Mother Teresa was the recipient of the most prestigious awards, the Nobel Prize, which she received in the year 1979 and the Bharat Ratna, in the year 1980 for her devotion in humanitarian work.
Her work was not limited to India, before she died in the year 1997, she had her Missionaries of Charity spread in 123 countries, with 610 missions in operation.

Pope John Paul II beatified the Mother, soon after her death and labeled her the ‘Blessed Teresa of Calcutta’.
