Miss America Pageant 2011

Miss America Pageant 2011:-Las Vegas-On January 15, 2001 the 86th Miss America pageant will be held at the “Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino” in the “Theatre for the Performing Arts”.

Competing will be delegates from all 50 states and will also include the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. ABC will be broadcasting live the Miss America Pageant 2011, an honor they last received in 2005.

The judges this year will be as follows:

Debbye Turner, Miss America 1990
Mark Cherry, TV producer
Tony Dovolani from “Dancing with the Stars”
Marilu Henner, actress
Taryn Rose, Shoe designer and orthopedic surgeon
Mark Wills, country singer
The first Miss America pageant was held in 1921 and the Miss America Organization will be celebrating it’s 90th anniversary this year. As tradition holds, Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron will crown the new queen at the end of the ceremony.
