Madhuri Gupta Sent To Judicial Custody Till May 15

Latest Update News:-Madhuri Gupta, allegedly involved in spying for Pakistan at Indian high commission in Islamabad, has been produced early Saturday morning to Tees Hazari court where she has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days till May 15.

The Delhi police failed to get her remand as already got same of eight days, but didn’t take out facts from her. Now, the big challenge for Delhi police is to collect the evidence from the records, mobile phones and computer of Madhuri Gupta.

Madhuri Gupta has been charged for passing document to Pakistani authorities since 2007.

The Court rejected police request of 2-day remand for Madhuri Gupta.

Gupta faces charges of spying for Pakistani Intelligence agencies.

She was arrested in Delhi on April 27, after being summoned from Pakistan on the pretext that she was needed for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meet in Thimphu.
