Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays:-On Saturday, we celebrate Christmas Day with my immediate family and on December 26th, we get to see my extended family (aunts/uncles and cousins).  It may seem like a lot, but I would not have it any other way.

The boys are very excited about Christmas, especially Cooper.  He understands the concept of Christmas this year and he is all about presents.  We are trying to teach him that it is not about getting stuff, but rather about spending time with family.  Obviously, that is a hard concept to teach a 4-year old, but we keep trying.

For me, I would be cool to skip the whole present thing, but I have lost that battle.  Not to sound too cliché, but as I get older I recognize just how lucky I am to have family and friends.  That is truly the greatest gift of all!

So whatever your holiday plans are and where ever you have to go, recognize how lucky you are to have family and/or friends.
