Although the issue came to light merely last week when the security department of the varsity got a copy of the said compact disc (CD) and submitted it to the proctor’s office for investigation. The CD in issue allegedly enclosed clips of a boy and a girl in a concession condition. The varsity authorities are inquiring the boy and the girl together with another student who was supposedly involved in recording the CD. The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is probing a scandal in which it was reported that a pornographic MMS video clip was being circulated that featured two of its students. Hindi daily Dainik Jagran reported on Monday that the video was shot inside a hostel room on the campus. The report said the sex film had been made with the intention of making money, but when that did not work out, it was made public and the MMS clip soon went viral.
