Billy Joel, Ex-Drummer Settle Royalty Lawsuit
Latest Update News:-Billy Joel and ex-drummer Liberty DeVitto have finally settled a financial dispute.
DeVitto accused Billy Joel for depriving him of royalties from many of his albums, which have collectively sold hundreds of millions worldwide, reports The Telegraph.
Liberty DeVitto was Joel’s principal drummer from 1975 to 2005 and was in Joel’s touring band.
“The case has been amicably resolved,” said Paul LiCalsi, a partner at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP in New York, who represents Joel.
